Segments and personas are essential tools for understanding your audience and tailoring your marketing strategies to their specific needs and preferences.
In this article, we'll walk you through the process of creating segments and personas on our Data Room platform.
Step 1: Accessing the Segments Page
To get started, go to your Data Room and click on the "Segments" tab. This will take you to a page where you can manage all of your existing segments and personas.
Step 2: Creating a New Segment
To create a new persona or segment, click on the "Create a New Segment" button located in the top right corner of the page. This will open a new window where you can enter the details for your new segment.
Simply enter the name of your segment in the designated field. This will help you easily identify and differentiate this segment from others.
Step 3: Creating a Persona Profile
Once you have created your persona segment, you can then create a persona profile for it. To do this, click on the "+" button next to your newly created segment.
Step 4: Choose the Context Data to Create the Persona Profile
In the Persona screen, click the "Context" button located in the top right corner. This will allow you to select the data from the Data Room that you want AI to use for generating the Profile.
π It's important to select the relevant data for your persona profile, as this will determine the information that our AI will use to generate the segment. This can include data such as:

Testimonials
Customer interviews
Product pages
Solutions pages
By selecting the right data, you can ensure that the AI only reads the information that will create the desired segment.
Once you have selected the data, click on "Save Changes" to proceed.
Step 4: Generate the Persona
Just click "Generate" in the top right corner to bring the new Persona profile to life. You'll receive a comprehensive overview, including insights on interests, demographics, channels, goals, challenges, needs, and more.
Step 5: Review and Modify Fields as Needed
We suggest you to review the details carefully for better organization, and customize the Persona and name fields for easy identification.
Once done, head back to the segments where your new persona will be listed under its assigned segment. You can also create additional profiles and segments as needed.
Once the persona profile is ready, you can use it across your projects to ensure your strategy and content align with your audience.
