To effectively use Digital First AI, we recommend completing a Business Statement. It's a set of focused questions about your business.
This helps the AI understand whom you're marketing to, what your goals are, and details about your business. The AI then uses this information to recommend specific marketing tactics!
Test-fill out the statement with your team
✍️ Two heads are better than one. You can download the statement and draft it with your team before entering it into the app.
So, if you'd like to start with a team brainstorming session, you need to: duplicate the Google Docs, discuss with your team or clients and fill in the answers together.
Before you start, please make sure you're signed into your Google account: Follow the links below to download the statements:
B2B Statement (if you're marketing to other businesses)
B2C Statement (if you're marketing to individual customers)
Got the statement up on your screen? Nice done! Now, you need to:
Click "File" in the top-right corner:
Select "Make a copy" 👆
Keep the same name or change it, and choose where to save the statement. Then, hit "Make a copy":
Well-done! You can now share the document with your team. You'll find dropdowns for each question:
Discuss, choose together, and then complete the statement in the Digital First AI app. 👇
Submit your statement in the app
Where to fill out the Business Statement in the app? Simply go to the "Statement" section when creating a new funnel or editing an existing one:
The process is straightforward: respond to the same targeted questions so the AI understands your marketing objectives. Then, check out the "Recommended Tactics" tab to see the tactics it suggests for you.
Questions include, among other things:
What are you marketing? (Product/Service/Ecommerce/Application)
Is your target audience a niche or mass market?
Who are you marketing to? (Local customers/State/Country/Global)
How does marketing drive your business? (Through sales or leads)
What's your level of marketing expertise? (Beginner/Specialist/Expert)
Once you've completed the statement, hit the "Finish" button towards the bottom of it:
